Project Aarambha

What is it?

Project Aarambha is an initiative dedicated to uplifting children who have lost their families, specifically 19 residents of the Community Child Rescue Center. We planned and executed a two-day, one-night winter camp in Dhulikhel, where we created a vibrant program that included a variety of recreational games, hands-on foundational leadership and moral values training, a scenic group hike, and a cozy bonfire. 

My involvement: Core Project Team

Our aim was to spark joy, build a sense of community, and provide a family-like experience during the holiday season for these children. 

We raised sufficient funds to bring the camp to life and partnered with stakeholders, such as Goldstar Shoes, who contributed to giving new shoes to all 19 children. The true success, however, lay in empowering the kids—we equipped them with practical leadership skills, reinforced their self-confidence through interactive training, and gave them joyful, lasting memories in a supportive environment they rarely experience.
